As a former food blogger, I remember what it was like to try and get my recipes noticed, so I hope I can send some traffic your way!
A little bit about me . . . I live in a quiet little town in Massachusetts. I’m a Mom to two grown boys, I teach second grade, and I love to spend time biking on the weekends with my husband, Dave.
I have enjoyed many blogging events over the years. Check out some of them below.
I had the priviledge of traveling with a group of writers to Long Island Wine Country. We traveled to the North Fork by the Cross Sound Ferry and I stayed at the Harborfront Inn at Greenport. We toured Bedell Cellars, Kontokosta Winery and was treated to many delicious meals including a special breakfast at the Shorecrest Bed & Breakfast. It was so much fun!
My friend, Kristi, and I went to a special ceremony at Welch’s headquarters in Concord, MA to celebrate the Concord grape and it’s rich New England history! Alton Brown was the Welch’s advertising Spokesperson at the time. It was fun meeting him!
I met Kristi Yamaguchi at the Alpine Lace Deli Cheese blogging event at the Taj Boston Hotel in Boston. She was so gracious and lovely! (Photo by Paul Marotta/Getty Images for Alpine Lace Deli Cheese)
Kristi and I were chosen to cover the Hood New England Dairy Cook-Off for two years in row. In the evening, Billy Costa (from the New England Cable News Show – TV Diner) hosted the events as the 5 finalists went head-to-head in front of a live audience.
I was one of many Boston Bloggers who got an invitation to tour Fenway Park, enjoy a game and some tasty ball park food, and chat with the marketing team about ideas to improve the Fenway experience for families. It was an awesome day, beginning to end! My husband Dave came along and got to stand on the infield as the Red Sox had their batting practice. He was in his glory!
